Education, Innovation, Service, and Community

These four words are at the heart of ATI Training and Education’s mission.

What began 10 years ago as a small institute delivering short 10 week courses has now grown to be Ireland’s largest Institute dedicated to delivering professional Education in Psychological Therapies

We prepare tomorrow's Psychological Therapists by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the evolving mental health and human development needs of our fast changing and demanding society. Our dedicated lecturers all work at the coal face of Mental Health Services and bring years of professional practice and wisdom to ATI and our students.

As the field of Counselling and Psychotherapy is rapidly changing and evolving so have we, by offering opportunities for study or specialization in key and emerging areas of Psychological Therapies such as, our Bachelors of Arts in Counselling / Psychotherapy and Bachelors of Arts in Applied Addiction Studies.

To witness ATI’s commitment to service and community, just look at our students. Each year ATI students engage in clinical placements in leading care services across the country, contributing to hundreds of hours of community service. Whether it is voluntary work in addiction services, homeless agencies, depression agencies, GP Surgeries, our students are making a profound difference.

ATI graduates are now working as professionals in many settings such as the HSE, ST John of Gods Hospital, St Patrick’s Hospital to name but a few and also in Private Practice.

If you consider receiving an innovative and personal education with a commitment to diversity, service, and community, then consider ATI Training and Education.

Sincerely,
Dr Damian Davy,
Head of Counselling and Psychotherapy Department
