Education, Innovation, Service, and Community

These four words are at the heart of ATI Psychology Institute's Training and Education's mission statement.

Education

What began 10 years ago as a small institute delivering short 10 week courses has grown to be Ireland's largest Institute dedicated to delivering professional Training and Education in Psychological Therapies through BA programs in Counselling and Psychotherapy and Applied Addiction Studies, Certificate programs in Addiction, Counselling and Therapy, Eating Disorders and Child Psychology and our Bsc Honours in Psychology program.

Innovation

At ATI Psychology Institute we prepare tomorrow's Psychological Therapists by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the evolving mental health and human development needs of our fast changing and demanding society. Our dedicated lecturers all work at the coal face of Mental Health Services and bring years of professional practice and wisdom to ATI Psychology Institute and our students.

Service

To witness ATI Psychology Institute's commitment to service and community, just look at our students. Each year ATI Psychology Institute students engage in clinical placements in leading care services across the country, contributing to hundreds of hours of community service. Whether it is voluntary work in addiction services, homeless agencies, depression agencies, GP Surgeries, etc., our students are making a profound difference.

Community

ATI Psychology Institute graduates work as professionals in many settings such as the HSE, ST John of Gods Hospital, St Patrick's Hospital to name but a few. Our graduates also work in Private Practice.

In addition our ATI Community Based Counselling program provides accessible psychological therapy services to anyone who needs it at no charge.

If you are thinking about a rewarding career in the exciting and growing field of psychology, and are looking for an innovative and personal education with a commitment to diversity, service, and community, then you need to consider ATI Psychology Institute's Training and Education programs.

Sincerely,
Dr Damian Davy,
Head of Counselling and Psychotherapy Department
